I'm the oldest girl in the house...MY room

when one of the children is away from the house the dynamic changes. it becomes more and more apparent to me as the big girls get bigger.
typically when V leaves to spend the night or now hops on her big jet airplane Ms. R will have an adjustment period. get adjusted to not having V to argue with is first, then she gets adjusted to sharing me with one less person...and then comes nighttime when she has to get her self situated in the room alone. there usually seems to be some sort of drama around that.
My R must be getting better at getting adjusted cuz:
last night (as we watched our Survivor NOT Grey) she said to me...'i'm the oldest girl' and then on the way to school this morning she made a comment about 'MY room'.

speaking of adjustments....Mr. K continues to be homesick. he spent time yesterday talking to our sitter about how he wants to go back to the 'other house'.
more adjustments....it is cold cold this morning....i will have to replace my run about bunny slippers soon with some mucks......

an adjustment i just couldn't make was working at macy's. i did relinquish my position officially yesterday. during the summer i think working retail is easier...once the busyness of the school year begins it requires too much coordination. i am a bit conflicted about that...but i know i'll get adjusted.

lets see...today Mr. K is going to the zoo with some friends after preschool...i'm so excited for him...he'll love love love being with the other boys.

i fully intend to get my house in order today...

that would be all for now...

kisses to my V who i know will be stalking this website!!

Good Morning B Team:

It's an adjustment for NaNa as well....once I get you all home....one leaves the nest again. I know V is having a wonderful time and today visiting with everyone at St. Joes. Tonight R & Papa do their "date" thing. The rest of us hang out at Stride Rite. Wishing all the Stalkers a wonderful weekend....and GO BUCKS.

I can't wait for you to see the pictures of the girls in Nashville last night. They had so much fun running around acting silly. I know they were up late last night giggling and telling secrets but amazingly they popped right out of bed this morning....hmmm... I wonder why....maybe it was because k.m. was waiting at school.....i'll keep you informed of all the happenings. have a good day, christine

I did not tell Mrs. M everything....I actually never said anything except I asked if they would be at spaghetti supper because I know the girls wanted to see someone(k.m) I never said names or told her anything more. They both ran out of the room so they just assumed.
